The Maze Runner

Today in class, I watched a movie called The Maze Runner. It started with a boy named Thomas. He came up in a box elevator thing. He woke up and he didn't know where he was. He was deposited in a community or "Glade," what the boys call themselves. Thomas's memory was erased. He couldn't even remember what had happened before he got there and he couldn't remember his name. Thomas was the "Greenie" when he came in the box. They call the new comers "Greenies" because every time a new person comes, the people from outside of the maze bring food and supplies for the boys in the community. Anyways, the other boys showed Thomas around and taught him the rules and what to do. By night, Thomas remembered his name and he started to settle in. Later, he soon learned that they're all trapped in a maze which will require him to join "the Maze Runners."
The Maze Runner เมซ รันเนอร์ ...

Everyday before the gate closes, the runners will run around the maze memorizing and remembering the maze trying to find a way out. There are complications and dangers in the maze. There are "Grievers." When someone gets stung by a "Griever," then they will get thrown back into the maze because they are infected and they might not get better. The runners run in the maze to find a shot to escape from the maze. The only thing is that the maze changes every night when the gates are closed. The runners that don't make it back before the gate closes, they don't have a chance of surviving because once they are stuck for the night, they aren't safe. So, they are pretty much dead if they don't make it back through the gates before they close to get back in the community.

Dreams

I have been having really good dreams but I haven't been remembering them the day after when I wake up. My dreams always have my friends in them now. I wonder if it is true that when someone is thinking of you or missing you than they will pop up in your dream. I wonder because the same people have been in my dream the past few days. I think I have been in Non-REM sleep because when you are in Non-REM sleep, you don't remember your dreams. REM means Rapid Eye Movement. In REM sleep though, you can remember your dreams, they are more vivid and you can see them. Anyways, these are my thoughts for the day.

Future Inventions that the World Should Have

Today in class, my class was reading the Hunger Games. We got to a part where Katniss and Peeta were in the Capitol and in the penthouse or their housing for them for District 12 during the Hunger Games. Katniss was going to take a shower and in the shower was a lot of buttons like ones for shampoo, soap, oils, etc. It does it all for you. When you get out of the shower, there is this big blow dryer thing that drys you off completely instead of using a towel. Another new thing for Katniss was she could pick food from a menu and it will pop up and be delivered for you from a table or something. There was even this thing, if someone tried to jump from the ledge or window, there is a forcefield that will bring you back up. Lastly, I learned that the window, you can use a remote to change the image of where you want to see like your home or outside. It is like a camera; it could zoom in and out.

These are the things that should be invented. They are so cool and awesome. A shower with buttons and the shower will do it for you is just cool. Then, the food and all the other stuff are pretty cool too. These things should be the future inventions in life and in the world. Everyone would love the new inventions. Anyways, those are my thoughts for today.

Science and Religion

Atheism is the "belief that there was nothing and nothing happened to nothing and then nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason what so ever into self-replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs." This makes sense.

Christianity is the "belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own Father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree." This also makes perfect sense.

Atheism can also mean that you believe in the Devil and Christianity means that you believe in God. I believe in God. I go to church sometimes but most of the time I am really busy with all of my leadership stuff and school. I am not baptized yet but I will be soon hopefully. The scary thing of not being baptized is that you could be harmed by evil forces like you can get possessed. That is the thing I worry about. Anyways, that is the difference between science and religion.

Germs

Why does there have to be germs? I don't like germs. They could get you sick. I don't like personally to go to the public bathrooms because how dirty and gross they are. Everyone has been in those bathrooms and you don't know what they leave sitting in the bathroom. The germs could just be waiting there. I'm kind of a Germophobe. I don't like germs. When someone is sick, I normally tell them to stay far away from me because I don't want to get sick. My friends always cough on me just to mess around with me. Anyways, if the world didn't have germs, then I would be much happier and not so cautious.

Five Scientists Who have Changed The World of Science Among Other Things

Isaac Newton is an Anglican meaning he believed in primative church and had a Newtonian Revolution. Albert Einstein was number two in the list of scientists who have changed the world in a way. He was Jewish and he was in the twentieth-century science. Neils Bohr was a Jewish Lutheran and he invented the Atom. Charles Darwin was an Anglican and Unitarian. He was apart of the Evolution. The last scientist among others who changed the world was Louis Pasteur. He was Catholic and he created the Germ Theory of Disease. These are all of the things I have learned and the five top scientists who has changed the outlook of science and the world.

Great Quotes from Famous Scientists

"Imagination is more important than knowledge." -Albert Einstein   "In rivers, the water that you touch is the last of what has passed and the first of that which comes; so with present time." - Leonardo Da Vinci  "A person starts to live when he or she can live outside herself." -Albert Einstein  "You cannot teach a man anything; you can help him discover it in himself." -Galileo  "The Sun, with all the planets revolving around it, and depending on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as though it had nothing else in the Universe to do." -Galileo  "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." -Benjamin Franklin  "An American monkey, after getting drunk on Brandy, would never touch it again, and thus much wiser than most men." -Charles Darwin  "A true friend is one soul in two bodies." -Aristotle  "He who is fixed to a star does not change his mind." -Leonardo Da Vinci  "If I have seen futher than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants." -Isaac Newton

I like the quote, "a true friend is one soul in two bodies." -Aristotle  I like this quote because it makes sense in a way. My friends are very true to me and I consider them as family and sisters. I would say Albert Einstein is my favorite scientist at giving and making famous quotes. They are so interesting in many ways. These are my thoughts and some quotes from some famous scientists.

Quotes from a Famous Scientist Albert Einstein

"The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it." "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." "Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them." "The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead." "The devil has put a penalty on all things we enjoy in life. Either we suffer in health or we suffer in soul or we get fat."

I like these quotes because they are really good quotes and they inspire me somehow. I have a fear of oblivion, where when I die, everyone will forget me and not remember me. To solve that fear, I want to change the world and make a huge difference in life. Get to know everyone. And I want to get into government and make changes in the world. Then, maybe, after some possible miracle, I will become President of the United States of America and I will make a difference and change in peoples' lives. Anyways, that is how I see it and my response back to Albert Einsteins' quotes.

World Hunger

There is hunger every where. No matter where you are, there is hunger. It is sad because when I'm hungry, I know the feeling. I feel sick when I am hungry. Hunger in the world should be resolved. I see commercials on t.v about people being hungry and they need money or donations. I really think that the government should help those people, so the commercials could stop. Hunger feelings suck and I get where those people come from and how they feel. Well, those are my thoughts for today.

The Flu

We all know that having the flu is not a fun sickness or illness to have. These past few days, I have had a mild flu and it is definitely not fun. I do not like throwing up. It is gross and unsanitary. When I have the flu, I always know when my mouth gets really watery and it won't stop. That is when I know that I have am going to begin the flu sickness for a little while or so.

The way that my flu usually starts is when my stomach builds up many acids and gases from eating greasy foods like pizza and many other greasy foods. I feel the gases or acids rumbling in my stomach just waiting to get out. I believe that is the only reason why I start having the flu. I don't normally get the flu but to start off the year, I had a three day flu. But my antibodies or the thing that fights my sickness or illness helps me get better. Anyways, the flu is not fun to get or receive from someone because of germs or viruses. That is my opinion about the flu and how I get the flu.

2015: New Year and New Predictions in Science

What do you think is going to happen this year? Do you think ebola is going to come back into the world? What about the global sicknesses? It is a new year, and so many things are going to happen. I believe that there are going to be global sicknesses and many people will die from it. For example, there will be a flu epidemic, ebola outbreak, or a virus going around that will affect many people in the world. It will be like that movie Contagion, where one person becomes sick and then spreads it throughout the world. Anyways, that is my prediction for the year in science.
